I'm thinking of coming back to vanilla for a bit, one thing I'll really miss is Rei's minimap. Now I understand that there are instructions for adding it to a vanilla minecraft client, but:
1 Would it break CF rules e.g. the no mods/hacks rule?
2 Would it interfere with logging in to vanilla.
I'd be tempted to presume that since its allowed in Tekkit it ought to be allowed in Vanilla, but that doesn't automatically follow.
I'm presuming that its a client-only mod needing no server support?
I'm pretty sure Rei's mini map is allowed. It's 100% client side.
last I heard that question asked it was allowed. Don't hold me to it though. I don't use any mods.
Rei's minimap is allowed and so is mod macro's as they don't give you an advantage over other players but just make you life easier
