Ohanlon7 and me did hide some signs at spawn city. If you find one it will have written a hint on it where to find the next one.
Your task is to find all of them! They are numbered #1 to #5 you can only find them in ascending order.
The last one is not a sign but a chest containing the price for 1st place (1st to find it). Please screenshot all the signs - finding only the chest does not count!
Once 1st place has been given out and the chest is empty please reply here or msg / PM ohanlon7 or me so we can hand out 2nd and 3rd price.

You get one hint where to find the first sign to start you off: it's very close to /spawn hidden at the spawn fortress somewhere.

1st price: 20 diamonds and 7 emeralds
2nd price: 10 diamonds and 4 emeralds
3rd price: 5 diamonds and 2 emeralds
4th price: a stack of totally useless gold

That means somewhere at the spawn platform. That includes the platform, the fountain, the four towers and the two bridges connecting it to the land.
Somewhere in that area it is. And it really is accessible by everyone you don't need any special equipment, skills, commands or whatsoever.

We were already frightened it would be a bit too hard but you prooved otherwise.

The whole challenge is not exactly easy. But if you take a look at every build at spawn you might just see that one build that matches the description

What's in the desc doesn't match it exactly, just hints on it...

this is actually true - sorry.
So here is the hint for all. Had to reword it a bit so it still requires siqn #1 to make sense of it:
#1 specifies a type of block. So look for builds at spawn which have blocks of this type in/on them. There are only 4 or 5 such builds i think.
The sign itself is nowhere near that block(s) but hidden somewhere at one of those builds. Its actually visible from ground level, no ender pearl acrobatics needed
