Does this work? From what I've read it implements the bukkit api as a "mod" that can be run under forge, rather than running forge under bukkit which was how forgebukkit worked I think?

It's very, very, buggy. If things were that simple we wouldn't be on 1.2.5 on tekkit classic and have a tekkit lite on 1.4.x

umh so i've been told this runs stable with FTB? Is this true or is it extremely buggy also, not pushing for FTB i know the story there

FTB uses Forge.

Yeah unfortunately Tekkit lite and forge bukkit are like trying to mix a tiger and a nice juicy fresh gazelle. Works for one but only to the others dismay. Not surprising it's pretty much the same for Vanilla as well.
