If a new or returning player asks "Is this the only server CFUK has" a reasonable response may be to say we have three now, Vanilla and FTB. FTB IP can be found on CFUK webby." instead of "no"

Also, if said player has /chat turned off, please advise them to turn it on. There may be players on the other server that are more able to advise the newcomer. In those circumstances it may be helpful to actually pay attention to cross server chat incase someone is asking you to inform them to turn it on.

Sorry miniature rant but an annoying one. There's too much of an ignore factor with cross server chat when it's actually needed at some points.

I been here a week and I don't know what you can do on each server so just followed my mate to FTB, but would like to know about the others as it goes down pretty much most days

Well we're going to be going down to 2 servers soon anyway toa so he was wrong either way

but draze does have a point, getting them to enabled /chat makes things a whole lot easier on the communication front.
All you need to say is. 'we have 3 servers currently. If you type /chat you can communicate with people on the other servers'

Vanilla minecraft is just you're standard minecraft, without all the Feed The Beast extra's so it's a lot less complex, but there may be less to do in it. you can build to you're hearts content here or maybe have a go at creating a new minecraft game if you wish.

Feed the beast is just a mod pack server we have (which you've already played so you know about it). Mainly for those who are interested in automating everything they have and using a variety of machines. Some may say it's more challenging then vanilla, others may say its easier but can create more. Either way if you're technically minded then this is the place for you.

Tekkit is similar to FTB but with less stuff in it, so effectively its the little brother of FTB hence why not many people are playing on it and it may get taken down shortly.

Yes, ftb is quite a bug fest and every week we find some new bugs that crash the server Simple reason it contains too many different mods from too many different authors.
Broonie does an amazing job with sorting out those bugs and fixing/work-around them. But like everyone else he has a real life and isn't online 24x7
