Just posting an image of the core modules needing updated for reference.

If anyone wishes to play FTBu and has NOT updated their FTB launcher. Please do not update.

Some of us were eather forced to update or like me (reformatted the PC and had to re-install FTB)

Has ftbu been updated enough to make it interesting again?

same old, they just updated a few core plugins but not the ones required to make a difference.

I checked and most only went up by .01 release version

Speak to gotorm, he may be able to link you to his clean copy of the old FTB. If so remove all traces of FTB from your system and replace the main folder with the one downloaded and click "no" to updating. Fixed it for me.

I can publish the link here. However I started getting server tick exceptions which means the files are likely to be getting corrupted (does happen). I will attempt to redownload the pack and upload again when I have a moment.

I thought the FTB launcher allowed you to select older versions of the modpack. You still need to know which version number is running on the server but once you set a number it should stop offering to update all the time.

I tried mine the other day and it didn't even offer an update heh.

There should be a dropdown menu directly above the modpack logo inbetween "download server" and "private packs". Normally it says "Recommended" but if you click the dropdown it'll show a list of version numbers and it should be possible to auto-install the right mod versions that way.

Doesn't work. the core mods apparently dont downgrade along with the pack version. Tried every way to force it down but getting an older pack seems to be the only solution.

I'm going to post up a link to my modified files (with all my links / codes / commands removed) in a new post. If anyone uses then please let me know if they work or not (in the new post, not this one).
