What a shame, looks like this server and group of likeminded people has been left to rot, I regularly pop in just to see if something might have changed, I even emailed broonie a couple of times most recently to beg for him to upload the old maps so we could download and relive some of the old builds locally but unfortunately no response.

The forum seems to have become a hive of spammers and broken code and not much else. SO sad.

Anyway here is my last attempt to get broonie to release the old maps for download for the sake of history or tell us they no longer exist or something so I can stop wasting my time asking for them.

Last couple of times I get onto the server I am greeted with a 'Server version out of date response'. Had this for a couple of times now.

Not to jump to conclusions or anything, but with the server now practically dead and run it;s course I wouldn't think Broonie gives much time to this server anymore.

After recently giving one of them a play, it popped into mind that the maps weren't up for download anymore and I had considered uploading them to some hosting site(somewhat hefty though: 8GB total between 2 files.)

Were only the main server maps of 2011 uploaded, by the way? Can't remember. I have no idea if somebody else has these(or any extra) maps or if Broonie's still hanging onto any.

Was this what you were looking for? Broonie must have the maps somewhere. I could remember when they definitely uploaded the 2011 maps.

I downloaded the Tekkit map once and it sort of worked with the Tekkit Classic pack except for some odd missing bits. It was quite interesting to revisit and I thought I could go on playing it offline but it just wasn't the same in singleplayer.

If anyone has the maps that have not been previously published (I started on the server on the map just before the one that had the huge cruise ship and the 4 gray tank things and my firework tower build) so for me at least maps from then onwards. I run a web hosting company so I am happy to provide space to store the maps for people to download (not to run).

Keep checking back in. I log in every now and then. Would be nice to revive the server a bit.

I've just popped in to see how Crazy-Fools is doing. Sorry to see it has fallen into disrepair, fingers crossed it is revived again some day. My circumstances have changed and I'll never have the same amount of time for Minecraft as I did. Presumably this is true also of Broonie and the other moderators.

On my semi-regular spot check to see if anything has changed here and hey Broonie is alive (at least somewhat!!) Nice to at least see something happening. Any news on OLD MAPS!!!!

Hey Spin! Nice to see some of the original cast here Im jumping on as i havent played MC for years and i wanted to see whats changed and maybe see how FTB has progressed.

I also would like to see the older maps uploaded if you still have them Broonie?

You'll need to rename the folders when adding them since they both have the same name. Also, if the map conversion process stalls, just keep restarting Minecraft until it converts fully.

It would be neat to have the 2012 map as well. I had a lot of fun there.

Minecraft has just kinda run its coarse a bit but people gen get the urge to come back every so often.. Its just life i guess?

It would be nice if a few of the older builders came on to build something huge.I came back on for a while then have had to stop as am on placement for the year so am learning the finite sense of time but will try to get back on soon.
