Hey All!
long time no see! thought id return to my good old Minecraft PC edition after being away for something like .. 2 years or so .. to update it and get given a free copy of windows 10 edition! .. Woah!
Installing it and finally finding out how to add a custom server to it .. I cant seem to connect?
Anyone having this issue or know a way around it?
never mind .. turns out Win10 edition is just a crappy Pocket edition port. Abandon Ship!
The Windows 10 Bedrock version isn't compatible with the java version. TBH I've been playing on the Bedrock edition for the last month or so and it doesn't hold a candle to the java version. Lot of redstone bugs, spawners stop working after 10 minutes, mobs don't behave the same and are glitchy, and mob farms don't seem to work at all.
It is very much the same as the one on my phone, which can be fun on the go don't get me wrong but I'm much happier with the java version for computer.
