The Server Construction Union is always on the search for materials and help! In exchange for your valuable donations and hours of volunteering, the SCU will reward you with points. Below you will find a list of materials the SCU will accept, and how many points you will receive for donating that item.

Please note that SCU only accepts BASIC MATERIALS. The reason for this is that the list of available materials is simply too large to compile into a simple list.

Also, since not all materials are equal, the Union will accept all materials donated until an arbitrary maximum is met in the Union's ultra-secret vault. This is to prevent someone from donating, for example, over 9000 stacks of dirt but nothing else.

Max stands for how many chests the project will accept before refusing further donations of that material. Each chest represents 27 stacks. So, for example, the project will only accept 54 stacks of flint before refusing additional flint.

This was indeed. It is being repurposed because it seems wasteful to just make a new thread. The 'Other' thread will be bumped soon, hopefully.

Will members of SCU get points for helping with the projects?

Yes, but I'll have to determine a decent system for making it work. I could count hours, but it's not very realistic, especially if work is done while I'm offline... I could arbitrarily hand out points for work completed, but it would be difficult to keep consistent.

Or, I just just give points like a salary to SCU Members, regardless of time spent or quantity/quality work done, so long as they can show they have actually worked on a project. That sounds like a good idea actually...

Update: Values of redstone and logs have been temporarily increased to reflect the SCU's need for these materials. Donate now before the values go back down!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

It is my pleasure to announce that the SCU Headquarters has finally finished building the Donation Center! So you can donate whenever you want.

How does it work?
The SCU Headquarters are located in spawn town! Simply walk from the ship and make the first right turn. Follow the road until you see the Pine Tree on the right side, and you're there.

Simply find your designated chest in the Donation Center, and place the materials you wish to donate into the chest. For security purposes, all chests in the Donation Center are protected and are property of the SCU. In order to be eligible for a chest, you must first contact me (tuatha1337) and inform me of your wish to donate. I will assign you a chest in the Donation Center.

All chests in the Donation Center will be checked regularly and your Donor Status Account will be updated accordingly.
