when members join or log off if i am mining, the blocks disappear and reappear
is anyone else having this problem when mining
Yes im allways having this problem, it gets annoying sometimes. its really wierd and its not lag.
Its a known Minecraft bug apparently.
atleast it isnt CFUK's problem.
For those interested in the reason for this (and I suspect it will just be me), I have a hypothesis.
In the last update Notch added protection against speed hack mining. If you try and mine blocks faster than normal, it gets cross and puts the blocks back.
When the server lags and runs slowly, from it's point of view you are moving very fast. It looks to the server like you're speed hacking and so it launches into anti-hax mode.
I did notice that it stopped happening if I did it block-by-block instead of holding down my mousebutton and moving forward.
It also stopped happening if a kept the mouse button held down after destroying a block, and looking in the same direction for half a second more before moving on.
