Hey guys, I just joined the server and so far I'm loving the people and your creations so I've settled in and started building. My first goal whenever I start a game is to establish a food farm and a tree farm but as I was building my little farm looked too awesome to be a tree farm, so I've decided to create a city with it instead.
It took me a little over 9 hours to carve out the first room, that's including a few distractions and the help of two awesome members Khar and Skix122. The first room is large but nothing spectacular. We are currently expanding it to a second room. I have plans for a minimum of 4 rooms total but I don't think I can spend 9 hours carving out each room so I need help! Khar is our first dedicated builder and we need more. Below I will list the things that we are in need of and if you feel that you could chip in and help us out on any of these then I'll supply the materials and tools!
To-Do:
-Carve out Rooms (Currently 1 is done, 2 is 1/3 done, 3 is 0% done and 4 is 0% done.)
-Build a cool entrance (So far it's simply a very unsafe mineshaft, that i've been the victim of more than once. As long as the entrance matches the feel of the town and it's not simply a ladder going down in the ground then you may be our guy/gal!)
-Buildings (I currently only have plans for 1 building, a free community house that will hold furnaces and vaults (rooms with at least 2 double chests, each chest will hold 1 sign so that guests may claim a vault as their own.)
-Roads (The town will need to be interconnected so far there's only a very short wooden road but maybe you can think of something that fits the feel of the town better?)
-Decorations (Flowers, Trees or maybe you've got something you've been wanting to try out? Here's your chance, BUT it has to fit the feel of the town.)
There may be more jobs in the future.
The town already has it's own unique feel. Whatever additions are made to the town they should really fit the overall feel. You will understand what I mean when you see the city.
As of now the city is off limits to those who are not currently working on the city. If you are interested in helping please contact either myself (STaylorY or Khar in game and we'll give you tour to the city and get you setup). I look forward to working with you!
