I imagine we're going to have quite a bit of new loot and craftables going in 1.8 since its the much awaited Adventure Update. Wouldn't be surprised if we saw craftable potions like those in the Apothocarium mod.

So i assume like all updates, it may be a week or so after release if were to go live with a new map and apply the update?

me and ninja pirate and a few other people agreed on building a giant castle together it will have a roof and stuff so it will be more of a fortress/citadel other than anything, we need several thousand of stuff like stone slabs and glass and brick/netherack and maybe about 20000 smooth stone or so, so im looking forward to get this up and running

During PAX the endermen dropped diamonds, but i doubt they will in 1.8, also it has been confirmed that on death zombies now drop zombie flesh, and at the time when notch had no idea what to make zombies drop he just chucked in feathers "for teh lulz"
