I can't connect only to CFUK Vanilla refresh server, does this mean it's down maybe?

I'm getting that too Alex - The server is down. I can't remember when the servers were going to be moved to the new server hardware, so perhaps it has something to do with that.

I just looked at the server map, and in the past the time would keep repeating the last few minutes during a crash. This time round the clock is counting normally, but the sun / moon graphics that move in the clock are not moving.

Also, if you look on the CFUK main web page where it lists the players on each server, it says "Failed to receive challenge. " - another way of knowing the server is down

All servers inaccessable as of 21:00 30/01/14

Also Alex, thank you for naming your other servers "server #1" etc. Very thoughtful and compliant with CFUK rules.

sigh.. well I see this isn't the place to discuss further and there's no point I guess.. I might play some Starbound.. If anyone knows a good server pm me..

ps I saw there's a poll about Starbound on the website so I hope I'm not breaking any rules by mentioning it or asking for a server.. :/

As you're new to the server Alex any further discussion on the server outages should be posted in the "Server down discussion thread" section That way broonie doesn't have to traul through posts to find the issue.

Me logging in WILL crash the Monster Server due to a... quite odd age that i got stuck in.

FTB Monster is down ( approx. time: 22:15 ).. on website for player status it says: "Failed to receive challenge." and that happens when server is not operational..

edit: It seems like it's going down and back up.. it's like it is very unstable at the moment, can someone confirm this?

it seems down go down after we go near our base (ie: as soon as we log on)

what blocks/machines did u add earlier?

yeah, RaZorEDD just told me that he has no problems until I log in.. He says it crashed every time I logged in..

as for machines.. I played last time around 17:30 today and I just moved the advanced genetics machines.. but didn't even turn them on yet.. Those machines worked fine yesterday.. Also there were people playing after I left.. Maybe someone else placed something new?

If you need to report and discuss something / comment / ask a question, simply place your report in here using the following format:
- Server e.g. FTBm
- Time it went down and your time zone (if you're not in the UK).
- What you were doing at the time / what you think might have caused the crash.

Then go to the Discussion thread and report what you were doing when the server crashed if you want to discuss it.

Think I broke it when i called draze to look at a fire anomoly... had to completely shut down FTBm and go from the Launcher to be able to stay logged in.

hmm hypothesis is that methane gas blew it up.. but on returning just pressing F7 to see chunks liable to mob spawns lit it up like a xmas tree and lagged me, so a quick /home was in order.

i've set a warp to d2crash for further analasys

i'm of the opinion that without a "canary" type block to detect gas that this is a liability and needs to be removed from the world gen until such a fix is released.
