FTB will be offline for a later period today for maintenance.

Over 250 worlds have been created in Mystcraft, this is at least 250 x 9 chunks being loaded into the sever at start-up for spawn areas, and is causing the server to crash without manual intervention, according to the console.

Due to the significant problem this is causing with automatic restarts, a number of MystCraft worlds will be deleted today.

The plan of action will to delete at least 1/2 to 3/4 of the worlds by file size or last access time, starting by the smallest/oldest, this will then occur every so often to prevent the server from crashing.

Initially, 2 mods have been disabled due to performance and security issues, Computercraft, and portalgun. We'll try leave everything else as is!

This is going to be our new home for the webserver for next 12 months at least, welcome!

Whats new:

- The webserver is now on a dedicated box, for the same cost as the VPS was!
- The webserver now has a dedicated 100mbp/s uplink all to itself!
- Generous bandwidth limits allow for full map downloads!
- More storage = more content!
- And overall, less downtime!

Kits on the vanilla server have been refreshed.

The server has been updated to 1.5, along with the nether being reset.

Due to inactivity, Skylands last day will be on the 30th April 2013, before being removed from the server and made available for download.

The world may be replaced with a different world type in the future, or simply the map being cleared.
