Bukkit will soon be ready to run the server at barebone level, however full testing will be conducted to ensure this.

The port number will be required to be changed, and a 'black-hole' application will be implemented on the current server port.
As long as this attack hasn't came from inside the community, we should all be fine.

Logs show its a targetted attack on the way Minecraft handles connection, we accept the connection, then our server connects to Minecraft to verify.
The only way to temporaily put off the attack is change the port number.

Any ideas when the server will up and running for us to join? Also who would DDoS the servers ?
