Thread: Server Event: Crack the egg! Sunday 16.00-18.00 (Server Discussion) Posted on 20 Mar : 21:07
Server Event hosted at /oldspawn.
The command will warp you to the old spawn location. you will find the event arena to the right when you walk out of the door.

Crack the egg is a Minigame that will take place on sunday, starting at roughly 17.00 server time and will last 2 hours. It is a team based game with minor PVP elements in it. Teams will be set at the beginning of the event by the host, 404thread.

There are two teams, red and blue. Both teams have a physical block egg that they have to defend from the other team. In order to win, a team has to crack open their counterparts egg so it will leak water. The eggs and spawning platforms are separated by nothingness and both teams have to "build" their way over with Grass blocks. If a player falls off the platforms, the fall damage will kill them.

Each team has a base at their platform where they can find limited amounts of tools and weapons. The list of equipment found in each base is as follows: (subject to change!)

Grass blocks
Iron armor
Leather Helmet with the colour of the respective team
4 doublechests of eggs
Carrots
Knockback 2 Swords

Beacon buff (jump boost II)

Everyone is welcome to participate or spectate and there are no requirements of skill or experience. Everything is provided by the Event host.

Rules:
1. Normal server rules apply during the event.
2. To prevent lag, chicken eggs must not be spammed randomly. Dont shoot eggs at the spectator stand.
3. Contestants must have an empty inventory when walking into the arena fascilities. No kitting or commands are allowed during the match event.
4. Building under the main platform height is not allowed. The spectator stand is off limits to contestants.
5. Dont attack the judge. He will be wearing golden armor.

If any of these rules are broken, The player or team can recieve a disqualification of the ongoing match or event.

Time and place of the event are solid, however, the details are a subject to change. Check back with this thread before the event in case of a change/update.

Each team only gets 4 doublechests of eggs per match.

The nether is a lawless zone. To bring order to the chaos, ASA is willing to take the matters to their own hands, for the good of the server. However, there are some individuals who wish to disturb the peace in the nether and these idividuals will be dealt with accordingly by ASA personnell.

In order to keep the peace in the nether, There will be a system of "Nether passes" that are sold in the ASA embassy at spawn. Trough this system, ASA will know who to protect from the evil menace that lurks in the shadows.

If you purchase a nether pass, you prove that you are in the nether to have fun and live in harmony amongst other members. You will not be purged by ASA personnell and you will also recieve protection if neccessary. Just ask smile

Prices are as follows:

Nether pass, 24 hours
Price: 15 emeralds*

Nether pass, 1 week (7 full days, starting day after payment recieved)
Price: 40 emeralds*

EASTER NETHER DISCOUNT:
2 weeks of nether access for ONLY 60 emeralds!
(Discount lasts out easter)

With tekkit lite comes an update for frame engines. I would give a mountain of diamonds for that update as it will contain vast improvements!

here goes the stuff that takes up too mutch space on signs ingame.

THE OFFICIAL RULES OF ENGAGEMENT FOR ASA:

*griefing:
if the opponent is offline, absolutely no griefing is tolerated.
if the opponent is online, but not in their clans Headquarters (referred to as HQ), no griefing is tolerated.
if the opponent is online and in their clan HQ, that HQ can be griefed to oblivion.
if the opponent got killed in the HQ, any griefing must stop completely. If the opponent leaves their HQ unmanned, no griefing is allowed.
booby-traps can be deployed any time at the opponents HQ. However, if the HQ is unmanned, only blocks that are a part of the booby trap can be destroyed/altered, meaning its not allowed to break a wall to boobytrap otherwise inacessible places.
You have to enter through the main entrance before you can grief, so no digging under walls, digging down into bases etc before youve entered the premesis. ender-pearling over walls counts as a legitimate entry.

*Beacon blocks and the Ore blocks connected to it are always off limits to griefing!

*theft is allowed.
if a chest is not protected, it is considered as loot.
if a player dies, the winner takes it all.

*cease fire can be agreed upon with both parties satisfied.

*warping
the use of /goto can only be carried out to an allied player. /goto cannot be used against opponents. /goto cannot be used when the target is in a fight.
the use of /home and /sethome is not allowed inside or around opponents buildings! a sethome must be atleast 500 blocks from the outter point of the building.
the use of /warp and /setwarp is not allowed inside or around opponents buildings! a warp point must be atleast 500 blocks from the outter point of the building.
warps set by the opponents/neutrals are considered as intel and can be used.
in addition, while in combat (combat starts after the first damage is dealt),no TPing nor warping is allowed. not even to allies/neutrals. combat ends when all the opponents are killed in that area.


*slaying
slaying (killing a player who is mining, building or doing any other non-pvp-related stuff) is allowed.
a player can be engaged at any given time in any given location EXEPT spawn area!

*any PVP in spawn area will be punished by bans or warnings.

*start of war
the war will start 24 hours after every player, or the organisation (ASA can talk for all their members) sends a PM with the following:

"i hereby declare a state of war with ASA and accept the rules of war as they are written".

*end of war
the war ends either on an agreed draw where both parties claim draw or one side surrenders.
