He may have been joking, but after mentioning the eco-system ingame one night, he said something along the lines of;

Best start saving up that gold!

Like I said, it may have been a joke... but I've been saving up my gold ever since.

Side note: 404thread's avatar disturbs me in a way I can't quite put my finger on.

I'm building a town-thing underground, the floor being on level 7, so we have an occasional Slime problem. Today it reached epidemic proportions, and this happened:

You might want to post the Coordinates so players can walk to it if they so choose.

Hey,

This is just a note that I'm abandoning a large structure I'd ben building, and if anyone wants to finish it/modify it/demolish it, feel free to do so. The structure is vaguely egg shaped, made from cobble and glass (about a quarter of glass not done) and is near a large pyramid not too far from spawn.

You can warp to it using "egghome." I Have left a few chests of leather armour and stoner tools behind, as it wasn't worth the effort to transport them to my new home area.

I hope someone find a use for the giant egg.
