moved away from intel myself, AMD seems to have more bang for my buck. One of these upcoming days, AMD will have their new Bulldozer CPU's (they sound a lot faster then what they have now), and the price of the current batch of processors will go down

it was fun building in the nether with you, although, all those weeks of "rebuilding" it after it blew up (until the nether was lost) could have been better Thank you, and take care

when I had OSX 10.4, the only avaliable java was built into OSX. (which was a headache, as it was one version lower then I needed for my projects) There is also OpenJDK, although no clue how stable it would be on OSX. Also not sure how advanced it is... OpenJDK: http://openjdk.java.net/projects/macosx-port/ http://wikis.sun.com/display/OpenJDK/Mac+OS+X+Port+Project+Status Also take a look at http://www.lucidimagination.com/blog/2011/07/28/dont-use-java-7-for-anything/ which mentions a couple java 7 bugs

still living at the same place (with my secret tree farm) since the map started. miss having neighbors though... "was" right beside the spawn before old spawn. small village nearby although have not seen people there for ages. although, when people /spawn, they end up at my coordinates funny enough.

As bad as the work is for us, it was not an intended feature. It was a glitch. Notch gave us an alternative before he went to fix the glitch, we just have to persevere though and deal with it.
