I need some help, I think I've placed items that cause a crash when my home chunk loads. I'm almost certain the item is the Fluid Pipe from Engineer's toolbox, and I think my mistake was allowing it to connect to a fluiduct.
Is there some way to remove it so I can get back on, or could the chunks be returned to how they were this morning before I added the pipe?
Direwolf went down after a day of instability and lag. Possible cause morphing in a wall accidentally.
just me restarting it gotorm.
oh darn, was looking forward to some time on the new DW server and gotorm went and used mystcraft again... we really need to make a choice here, my suggestions are:
Disable the mod entirely
Disable Decay (from my testing seems to be the thing that has the highest chance of getting players stuck and causing havoc).
Only allow a mod to create a world on a players be-half (i think there is a config option for this), this would require mean the mod would only attempt to make stable worlds.
How about just having a set of pre-created ages with "interesting" attributes, and disabling world creation in game.

Apologies again for this. This is really pissing me off now. It seems to be better optimised but even more buggy. Draze already found loads of bugs yesterday.
What really grinds my gears is why on earth they didn't test it before releasing the pack. I am really disappointed as this pack even in beta was promised to be playable.
My suggestion would be to just have a normal age with everything set to normal for mining and quarries. Then disable the recipes with the exception of linking books.
Again sorry for the downtime caused by me yet again, I was under impression it was fixed (by the mod/pack author).
Theres FTB inifinty, any interest?
(in all honesty, i don't follow modded packs, much)
It's a mystcraft conflict straight up.
If we really want to play DW then my suggestion is to completely remove Mystcraft and create a new world again. That way there is no trails of Myst left over.
Apparently this has worked since DW-1.0.4 (And they haven't fixed it yet.... go figure)
I know some time ago mystcraft didn't work very well with direwolf pack due to the dense ores. Which were causing it to flip sideways. Some time ago also all instability was disabled for random worlds and it seemed to work.
I know for a fact I will not be touching mystcraft on this or any other modpack ever again.
I've been playing a bit of Infinity and it seems like quite a solid pack, of course I have only been playing on a local server but so far so good.
I have a bit of an issue near my base with a Factorization Collosus. I started to kill it but got kicked from the server and now the collosus keeps disappearing and I cannot hit it. Can it be removed?
The coords are -1387, -611
Thanks.
the collossus doesn't die for now, its not complete. After destroying the heart and a couple of the power blocks it becomes untouchable.
Personally I like the AT launcher much more than the ftb one, packs I've used on it seem much stabler than ftb ones. Any AT Launcher packs people like the look of ?
i tested the yogzcast (i think) pack, was pretty cool, no idea how up to date it is anymore though.

I agree about ATLauncher, I had a lot of fun with Yogz not too far back in Squaffle's world. I've heard some good stuff about Resonant Rise too, not sure how the era system works though.
Also going to look into Infinity like BlueGenie mentioned, but it looks like it's only designed for small servers.
I was going to mention ATLauncher too, I enjoyed Resonant Rise last year. From an admin point of view the "Instances" feature could be a big advantage, you can install more than one version of the same pack simultaneously.
pssssss what is a chank clear?
I played DNS from the AT launcher. It was stable but very slow. Not recommended (kinda) because it is a very heavy pack and also it has EE with all the awesome balance breaking stuff.
chunk clear means the area has been reset (everything you've done in that area undone effectively)
Yeah that's mostly because GregTech took over IC and ruined the recipes.
