One of the upcoming features of CFUK 2.0 is.. badges!

"But we had already had badges!"

Indeed, we did. However even though the old badges feature was launched, it never took off. Some users -already- do have badges, but down to recent events the added administration was a bad decision in being able to keep up with. Sorry!

This new badge solution improves over the original, and works along the same lines as Minecrafts achievements feature, except, it's tailored to CFUK!

"But what will happen to my old badges?!

You'll get to keep them, don't worry. Although they may be converted at some point to the new system, however they will still retain their original value!

Will it go down the pan like the last one?

No! It won't, actually it's never been easier than before. Wherever you can get a badge of not is up to you! It's fully automated!

So how can I get them?

Some badges will stay secret forever though.

Within the coming days and weeks, CFUK will take the massive upgrade to it's profile systems.

The current profile system, originating in 2010, has had updates and upgrades tacked on over time, growing into a mature simple profile system.

The system will be entirely re-encoded. Bringing it in line with the rest of the CFUK plugin.

Improvements will be as follows as updates come into place:

- Server crash checks, join other servers even if the one you were on has crashed
- View more details of players via /profile
- Badges will now be an automated achievements style system, will some being limited edition!
- Compatibility across multi-platforms (website integration now a possibility)
- Minute-by-minute playtime updates.
- Improved performance
- CFUK Tokens, collect tokens for various activities.
- CFUK Hall of Fame
- Random events
- Challenge mode

If the fekkit server is still deemed inactive by the time of the release of 1.7, the server will close.

The map will be available for download upon closure

To the run up to (and beyond) of 1.7, several important changes will take place here at CFUK.

This is to refresh the community/server and re-establish requirements for the size of the community here.

Due to continued downtime caused by Advanced Information Panels, and the time to it will consume to remove each and every one, the map has been reset.

It was a last resort option, but unfortunately this sometimes happens with mods.

Advanced Information Panels will continue to be banned for the foreseeable future.
