Teamspeak and Nether - Coming Soon!

The Nether and Teamspeak should hopefully arrive with us at the end of the week.

Once the nether arrives, for now mobs will be disabled within the nether until they are SMP ready (resource usage for the mobs is simply too high, and further tests will be need to be conducted until they are ready.)
The exact outcome of the nether for now will be unknown, whist it can be known as just a place to get resources, we want it to be more than that (a hell conversion of an old map?!) in which players can fight, and, well maybe wreck destruction.
The hell map will not be backed up in a usual procedure, however our stability has been high lately, I won't include the hell map in our usual back up during the testing phrase.
Teamspeak is also coming, we'll be trialing it out to see how resource usage is (it will also be seperate from the gameserver, so no need to worry about any extra load there.)
Obviously setting these up requires alot of testing and trial and error, so we'll be looking to it as smooth as possible, and if everything goes well, it will be a keeper.

Notch has confirmed that a Minecraft update is coming this week, the server will remain as version 1.3 until a bukkit has been released, do -not- update if you wish to play on the server until we have posted an annoucement saying we have updated.

The server will be offline for roughly 15 minutes for plugin upgrades and bukkit upgrades.

Bukkit seems to be having issues handling the server tonight, crashing without reporting any errors.
