One thing I must say, is that the rules are not obvious to find AFTER you've signed up and linked their accounts. I recently got a bit of a bollocking from SGT_Blinky for violating building rules near spawn. The rules had only been updated about 2 days previous to me commencing my build. Now I don't blame the staff for coming down on me about it - as they are here to enforce the rules of the server ... and in the end they all guided me on how to re-build whilst sticking to the new rules (without completely demolishing my build), for which I am very grateful. Blinky gave me a link via MC for the updated rules, but it just linked to the forum main page, so I think this forum should inculde a section specifically for the forum rules, that it obvious from visiting the home page. It should also include the commands that various ranks of members can execute - mainly as it would explain to new members what benefits they would get by donating (as I've seen a few asking over the last few days in MC). I run my own car owners forum, and understand how hard it can be to get members to obay the rules (but so far have only had to ban a few over the years for violations). So I know you need good Mods and Admin staff to help you enforce the rules. If anything, once a CFUK rules section is set up, I think it would be wise to add something to the MC sign-in script that notifies members of rule changes / upgrades (just in case, like me, they just log into the MC server day after day without checking the forum for updates). Just ordered myself a headset, as for some reason the mic on my webcam keeps making background sounds like I'm playing music, when I'm not. When I get it I'll see you all on the TS channel

Broonie - is it possible to add a message to when people log in to the CFUK server that states when new rules have been added and a link to the forum post / website page where the new rules are? I don't often check the forums, but found out the hard way (via SGT_Blinky's sword) that I'd breached some new rules that were created about two days before. I'm just thinking that if we can update members who like myself, just join the server day after day, that there are new rules to behave by? I know it'll take a little coding to allow other staff members to update the rules and then post a link into the server, but I'm sure it's possible. Oherwise, new members may continue to build randomly without knowing the rules have been updated. You might also need to add a built in warning to the message that states that if they don't comply, they face a ban / warning / etc. ... Just an idea

Never seen a single ad or link from them in the car modifying circle ... you're probably better off making them yourself under your own company name for custom cars - I run my own car owners club (top in the UK for it's make and model based on net searches) ... but that's off subject slightly - what I'm saying that is I know how hard it is to get into a custom community, but once you're settled, you're sorted

Actually Discharge, that's not a bad idea - as if you look at how many people now play minecraft, and then look at how many of those play remote servers, you don't want to check the minecraft server every second or it'll slow EVERYTHING right down across all servers (if I understand it correctly).
