Also, the Snakepit now is a community resource, you're free to come and race pigs whenever you want! Hopefully Mojang will make them less glitchy one day...

Thankyou to every one who turned up and raced pigs with us tonight - we had fun! Heats were won by: Khoe, Michael, Bobble, Chang, Blinky and Mega But the overall winner and the beneficiary of Broonie's uber generous 2k gold prize pot was.... CHANGYEO!!!!! Congrats Chang, spend it wisely.

Not too many, empty inventories before hand, each rider will get a to-be-determined number of carrots/sticks to use and you have to wear our dyed leather armour jockey outfits. Other than that, it's first past the post. At the moment its looking like three heats which means first and second placed riders will go through to the final.

Sorry Soul, but look at it this way: if it's good we'll probably do it again and if it's rubbish you won't have missed much. In any case after the opening races it'll be an open community location and races can take place whenever anyone wants.

If you want to race can you say so in this thread so we've got an idea of numbers. Races will have six riders so there'll be heats if we get more people wanting to race. There will be a prize for the overall winner. Oh, and you have to wear the safety gear we provide if you want to race - don't worry its all sexy leather

Kind of. But we don't laugh at people here. Unless they're really funny-looking. This server is stored in a bucket which can only hold 1.3 litres of minecraft information. Once the bucket gets upgraded to 1.4.2 litres, then you'll be able to play again. That's my understanding anyway.
