If your machines cause a problem there wont be any consequences as this is an MC logon issue so it's not like you logged off and left them on intentionally.

it might be worth trying to re-create the steps u took in single player to narrow it down.

The problem from what i've found is that a lot of mods function perfectly fine in an SP enviroment but cause all kinds of hell in an MP enviroment.

I'm sure there is a problem with one of the DNA machines on SP, stopping a world from loading (as seen on AKO_the_builders stream), not sure why i'm posting this but it may help lol....

Minecraft Authentication Servers down because of OpenSSL bug "Heartbleed". No ETA on fix:

This means you may not be able to login to CFUK Minecraft Servers once you log off, until Mojang can implement a fix from OpenSSL.

This bug affects a huge number of websites if they use OpenSSL, though I don't believe any actual compromises have been reported.

FYI - SSL is used to encrypt data between a user and server, i.e. https address as opposed to just http when sending passwords in a website that you log into. Only an issue if the server uses the OpenSSL flavour of SSL.

getting an "end of stream" trying to login to FTBm atm... can see draze and alex on the server, so i'm guessing its either me or the login servers, which are reporting as working atm.

FTBm went down approximately 2:45am, as reported by Draze in the REPORT thread.

To add to this, also noticed that FTBu went down about the same time, shortly followed by the Vanilla server.

I was logging into FTBm at the time of the server restart, and hadn't completed the log-in as I saw a flash of the game screen with "Server restarting in 5, 4, 3, etc." briefly in the chat and then I was disconnected (Disconnected by Server). Don't know if that's just bad timing, or if my login attempt may have upset the server?

One thing to consider.. the Promised Land QuarryPlus I set up was still running and I don't know how it behaves there since there is void under land mass.. (that tp-s players back to Overworld at 256 height) Maybe server had an issue with that..

Although, since both FTBm and FTBu went down appox. at the same time, it seems unlikely to be the cause..
